Just found your site. I too have a Made in Hong Kong, British Crown Colony sequined jacket, black and white. Wondering if there is a market for these? I sure appreciate any information anyone has. This jacket actually belonged to my husband's aunt, I was guessing she purchased it in perhaps 60's, but maybe from the info above it was earlier. Thank you.

There are a lot of vintage Barbie "clone" clothing that is labeled "Made in the British Crown Colonies of Hong Kong". Alot of unknown designers went there for work after WW11 and to gain experience. I have a beautiful vintage Barbie sized wedding dress that is labeled " Made in the British Crown Colonies of Hong Kong, designed by Oleg Cassini.
Miller, it's very interesting to have so many readers react to the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong blogpost. Seems like the clothes last a long time as many seem to find them in thrift stores. I unfortunately don't know the retail value. Let me know if you have any leads!
